Rod Hise is the founder and president of LUMINIS COMMUNICATIONS, LTD. Rod brings more than 15 years of strategic and tactical communications experience to his work. He has a broad range of planning, positioning, message development and issue management experience, and extensive background as a speechwriter, spokesman and coach.
Prior to founding LUMINIS COMMUNICATIONS, LTD, Rod was vice president, corporate affairs of Third Wave Technologies, a publicly-traded biotechnology company. He managed its media and investor relations for more than five years.
Before joining Third Wave, Rod conducted survey research and provided communications counsel for corporate clients including the Minnesota Twins, a major health care system and others. He spent more than a decade serving local, state and federal elected officials, including the Honorable Tommy G. Thompson.
